"Making the part shine"

Steel parts that are to be painted are first processed through an Iron Phosphate bath to clean and prepare them for paint.

Aluminum parts are processed through a clear or yellow Chromate Conversion process (Irridite) that will remove any impurities on the surface of the material, inhibit oxidation and/or prepare the parts for painting. Oher services offered include plating, anodizing and RoHS compliant chromating.

All of the chemical processes are tightly controlled and documented with our ISO Quality Management System. Our Chromate Conversion processes conform to MIL-C-5541. After the metal pieces are Chromated, they are hung up and blown dry to prevent runs and staining.
